Strong roasted aromas and a light, pleasant bitterness are in the foreground of the dark Heinzlein. Part of the malt is dried at very high heat and then roasted. This produces its round, full-bodied aroma and its rich, dark color, which is almost a little reminiscent of coffee. Dark Heinzlein is a bottom-fermented beer with a low original wort content. It is unfiltered, so the contained yeast can create a complex, harmonious taste experience.
