This chapter was developed in collaboration with Alder Beer Co., one of Italy’s most innovative craft breweries.
“Let’s Get Stout” is a classic dry stout with a modern twist. Look forward to roasted notes of coffee and dark chocolate. It has a dry finish and a low alcohol content. This makes the beer approachable and perfect for multiple rounds.
What makes this Dry Stout special is that we’ve also developed a genuine nitro version for on-tap service. These kegs are filled with nitrogen. This creates a smooth, creamy body, a full head, and a beautiful “cascading effect” where the beer appears to flow slowly downward. To be poured using a special mixed-gas system, just like a classic stout tap. Familiar, but with a Jopen signature. The Nitro version can be sampled on tap at the Jopenkerk and at several restaurants and bars serving Jopen.
