Taste description
Fade Into Darkness is a clean and drinkable Schwarzlager. Black in color, yet light and smooth in flavor. You'll taste soft roasted notes and a hint of cocoa. The finish is fresh and clean. This is a lager with character, but without heaviness. More bite than pilsner, without being heavy.
Cooperation
This Chapter was brewed with Brauerei Kundmüller (Weiherer) from Franconia, Germany. A family brewery known for craftsmanship and precision. The Kundmüller brothers have been winning awards at the European Beer Star Awards for years . That's where we met. This collaboration felt right from the start.
Style & character
Schwarzlager is still relatively unknown in the Netherlands. It's a popular style among beer lovers. It's a dark, bottom-fermented beer that's surprisingly drinkable. Fade Into Darkness proves that black beer can be refreshing. It's accessible to pilsner drinkers and interesting for craft enthusiasts.
