Love marshmallows? Imagine a warm campfire on a cold night with s'mores and a craft beer. Yum! Traditionally, we end the year with our Masterpiece. The 2025 Masterpiece is an Imperial Pastry Stout. We've added a Dutch delicacy: stroopwafels. Enjoy sweet flavors of creamy marshmallow, chocolate, and a hint of campfire smoke. What a masterpiece! We take you back to the Middle Ages. Many craftsmen were members of a guild. To become a member, craftsmen made a masterpiece as a proof of skill. In honor of Saint Martin, the patron saint of the Haarlem brewers' guild, we brew a Masterpiece every year. Jopen is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saint Martin's Day (11/11) and we are celebrating that with Pastry Stout. The taste is reminiscent of a dessert or pastry. The full body, bitter-sweet aftertaste and multi-layered complex taste experience, to enjoy in peace and quiet. Every sip again.
