Benediktiner Weissbier Dunkel is a chestnut-colored, fruity-malty wheat beer specialty with pleasant yeast cloudiness and gentle roasted aromas. Slightly opaque dark honey color. Cream-colored foam – persistent and fine-pored. Malty sweet aroma of dark honey and caramel. Also infused with intense spice, reminiscent of roasted chestnuts and finely bitter sage and wormwood. Tart and fresh on the palate. The intense malty sweetness contrasts with the distinct effervescence and fine tingle. The pleasant taste tension of finely bitter aromas of sage, wormwood, and hops slowly fades on the palate.
