Beer description
The combination of Franconian beer tradition and Norwegian yeast. The word "Kveik" is one of the many Norwegian terms for "yeast". This is an ancient yeast that has been passed down through generations in traditional farmhouse breweries in Norway, but has only recently been researched here. The beer is fermented with this yeast at particularly warm temperatures. This creates special flavors of banana and tropical fruit combined with a chocolatey, smoky aroma.
