Beer description

Ruthard was the first abbot of the Cistercian monastery in Osek. He came to the Czech territory in 1192 from the abbey in Waldsassen at the invitation of the magnate Milhoště and together with twelve monks worked for six years on the farm Mašťov. However, after disputes with Milhoštěm, they leave the manor in Mašťov and are granted asylum by the Hrabišic family in Osek. Here, near the Church of St. Peter and Paul, a monastery with a long and rich history was established. Top-fermented beer belonging to the category American Red Ale has a ruby red color. The Pacifica and Mosaic hops used give the beer a distinctive aroma with tropical fruits, lime and peaches. It has lower zest and medium fullness, you will find tones of citrus, especially oranges in the taste, the fading is longer and pleasantly bitter.
