Perlenzauber - 2023

"Perlenzauber" is Kalea's tribute to the art of brewing from small and independent breweries. Translated, Perlenzauber means pearl magic. Each year, the beer is brewed in a different brewery. The brewmasters have free rein over the brewing process, with one small restriction: they must use special hop varieties called pearls. And there's one request: "Showcase your brewing artistry." This year, the choice fell on the Schlossbrauerei Rheder. The brewmaster opted for a Pale Ale. The hoppy pearls used in this brew are Magnum, Chinook, Citra, and Mosaic.
