Beer description
A blend of imperial stout and porter.
From the combination of these two worlds, we tried to draw the best of each.
The stout gave back roasted, chocolate and coffee notes to the beer. Porter added chocolate and distinctive dried fruits. The stouter was aged between 22 and 32 months in Willett and Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and Rittenhouse Rye whiskey. Interestingly, we also added a very small percentage of fresh, unaged Porter, which gave the whole thing more panache and lightened the beer.
