Beer description
The brewery has often expressed their love for Mosaic here at Polly's. Mosaic is a variety that is as complex as its name suggests, and has rightfully been featured in their beers for five years. They love how this "Stateslide Slammer" exudes a wonderful, distinctive bouquet of red berries, tropical fruits, and citrus fruits, complemented by subtler notes of blueberries, bubblegum, and mango. Now that they know this variety like the back of their hand, they have reached a point in the brewery where they are trying to figure out which accompanying hops really bring out the best in this in-house favorite and highlight these flavors optimally. At Off-Colour, they thought, why not try a classic C-hop like Centennial and an antipodean classic like Vic Secret - the grassy bitterness and clean herbal pine notes, in their opinion, bring everything together perfectly in an IPA that showcases all the classic Polly's characteristics - juicy, hazy, with just a hint of bitterness in the finish.
