Beer description
With every step of their growth in the last half decade, the brewery's love for hops has prevailed, and from this love has emerged an entire business that now supports the livelihood of fourteen team members. The Hopfenstudio is a natural extension of this love - it showcases the most complex and diverse ingredient they use in their process, without exception. Nelson Sauvin, named after the founding region in New Zealand and the Sauvignon Blanc grape, is an incredibly characteristic variety that first hit the market in 2000 and is widely described as the perfect summer hop. With its strong fruity aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, crushed gooseberries, and grapes, mixed with mandarine and grapefruit, they could only use this hop variety for a whirl in the Hopfenstudio for an enhanced DIPA.
