Whilst we don’t venture over to the dark side very often, we like to think we’re distinctly old school in our approach to the stout game. Eschewing the crazy adjuncts, we’ve approached our latest trip to stout town with a very much back to basics attitude. Think About It has us honouring those robust American dark beers of yesteryear that forged our formative drinking years. Letting the malt bill do the talking here with zero dry-hops, we’ve brought Roasted Barley, Dark Crystal, Chocolate and Brown malts to impart a whole host of rich coffee, dark chocolate and molasses to compliment just a whisper of bitterness thanks to our use of Amarillo in the whirlpool.
