Polly's - Wake & Return

What, oh what, do you do queried Polly’s, when you find a stack of two hops that are almost universally renowned across the entire brewery as some of their favourite bar none? Two that positively set the craft beer world alight when they landed; New Zealand’s Nelson Sauvin and the USA’s Strata team up here on Wake and Return – an IPA that has a very simple objective; fruit, fruit, dank, and even more fruit. Going big for one of our IPAs at almost 17g/l on the dry hop charge, pushing toward DIPA territory, this beer is dripping with every last ounce of flavour we could squeeze from these two phenomenal varieties. Expect freshly crushed gooseberries, peach, and lime flavours perfectly intertwined with those unmistakable passion fruit, mango and thick marijuana smoke notes in what might be our most hype-forward beer yet.
