Polly's - Yellow Blaze DDH Pale Ale

Every year we grow this tiny little brewery in our small corner of North Wales, so too do we encounter experiences that happen to us as a business for the first time. Saying goodbye to a former member of our close-knit, extremely well bonded team was something we never anticipated so soon into our brewing journey and we were collectively devastated to learn of the passing of one our OG employees at Polly’s, Guy Anderson earlier this year. We took no hesitancy to immediately dig from the archives the beer that Guy himself developed from top to tail, and immediately put it into our brew plans as soon as possible. Utilising the same recipe down to the gram as his original 2020 brew, Yellow Blaze is our tribute to a man we were all honoured to call a colleague and friend. A DDH Pale Ale hopped with the freshest Citra and Mosaic crops we could get our hands on at a g/l rate comparable to one of our IPAs, bursting with bright citrus, berry, tangerine and bubblegum flavours, just as Guy himself loved them.
