Heather is the English word for heather, a plant with delicate flowers that adorns the Irish landscape with purple splashes of colour. Chris used it to make a kind of "herbal tea" by adding the flowers to the beer wort. The flavour of the beer is full of fruity notes reminiscent of apricot and dried apples. There is also a hint of honey and dried flowers. On the palate, the fruity flavour harmonises with the acidity.
