Beer description
Old ales are part of the brewing tradition in Great Britain. These beers benefit from a more or less long storage/maturation period before bottling. The fruity notes are reminiscent of dried apricots and are well represented, along with a sweet smoky flavour and some crème brulée. If the beer breathes a little in the glass, the molasses becomes more apparent, also on the palate. The beer is round and smooth, not sweet, so to speak, and wine-like, also thanks to the typically subtle carbon dioxide.
