The English beer style "Ale" originally referred to an unhopped beer. At the time of the Hanseatic League, hops were introduced in England and the English ales known today were created, which are especially famous for their strong hops and long shelf life. The coveted ale recipe spread in the Hanseatic cities and thus also forms the basis for the Atlantic Ale, a natural, top-fermented, light ale
I like the etiquette. The foam and colour is nice, but the smell is unremarkeble. However the taste is very refreshing and slightly malty. 12th beer from Advent calendar.
