Störtebeker - New England IPA (2025)

More fruit is not possible: The new Störtebeker New England IPA is bursting with tropical aromas of passion fruit, mango, and pineapple. For the recipe development, the brewers from Stralsund turned to the hop experts at Yakima Chief. The limited New England IPA, winner of the German Championship of Hobby Brewers in 2023, was very popular and the demand for a permanently available Störtebeker New England IPA grew. The brewers from Stralsund didn't hesitate for long: From now on, the velvety-fruity brewing specialty is available nationwide. Light barley malts give the beer its straw-yellow color. Oat and wheat flakes give the beer its velvety mouthfeel and strong haziness. English yeast provides a fruity-fresh aroma and gives it a fine carbonation. Particularly high hop additions with the varieties Idaho 7, Citra, Krush, and Simcoe create intense notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit, and berries.
