Clear, dark yellow beer with a creamy, long-lasting, white head. Light malt aroma, grainy, hoppy, grassy. The taste is sweet, slightly bitter, grassy with notes of citrus. The triumphant advance of light beers began late. Originally from the Bohemian city of Pilsen, Pilsen beers from the then famous Bavarian brewing method also developed in the north. The prerequisites for this were very light-colored malts and economical refrigeration machines for cold fermentation.
