Co-Conspirators - The Berserker

To age a stout of formidable strength, we looked to history and the world—not just any old barrel would suffice, but one whose history was greater than the sum of its parts. A collaborative effort yielded a luscious and fierce imperial stout, destined for a barrel that began its life in 1930 as a Pedro Ximenez brandy cask in the Bodegas of Spain. It was later obtained by Linie and sent out on the world's oceans to mature the age-old Nordic-spiced spirit, Aquavit. Following its time on the seas, 3 passes over the equator and 35 visited countries, the barrel has now imparted its rich character on the beer within. To celebrate this history, we bring you The Berserker; named for the Norse Vikings’ fiercest and bravest warriors. Drink with your closest warriors pre or post battle.
