Co-Conspirators Brewing Company

The idea of two couples - Jacqui Sacco, Tim Martin, Maggie and Deon Smit. The Co-Conspirators Brewing Company's origins began as a hobby but quickly turned into an obsession. We met at the Merri Mashers Homebrew Club through the great leadership of Craft Beer. Along the way, we trained our palates by exploring local and international craft beers of all styles and challenging ourselves to re-brew our favorites. As our confidence grew and mingled with a healthy dose of curiosity, this was soon replaced by creating our own recipes. At the same time, brewing began to take over our homes. Simple beer sets brewed in the kitchen sink turned into full-blown wholemeal home brewing systems that took up the entire garage. After successfully winning several home brewing competitions, we were given the exciting opportunity to re-brew our beloved recipes on a commercial scale. After seeing our beers being enjoyed in public hands, the seeds (the grain) were planted, and over a celebratory pint it was decided - we were going to start our own brewery.
