Wagner Merkendorf - Richard Wagner Dunkel

The beer was first brewed on the occasion of the 75th birthday of the senior boss Richard Wagner and has been a permanent fixture ever since. Its original wort content of 13.2% gives the beer its pithy character and an alcohol content of 5.5%. The malty taste typical of dark beers is rounded off by the finest aroma hops. Full-bodied dark, with fine roasted malt flavors, spicy body and the aromas of caramel, bread and herbs, with beautiful hop bitterness on the finish.
