Inquiries go back to the year 1797 when a brewery was first mentioned on our land. Meanwhile, the brewery has an annual output of 17,000 hl, our beers are brewed under and Obergärigen. The Merkendorfer Wagner beers are sold in restaurants, in beverage markets, at parties and at home. All beers are produced with artisanal brewing. We rely on state-of-the-art technology to save energy and to protect our environment (member of quality alliance of environmentally conscious craftsmen). The brewery Gasthof is known for its Franconian cuisine. Here you can enjoy our tasty beers, Franconian roast specialties of pork, beef and game - grandmothers - kind. Furthermore, we offer homemade snacks, which our guests can enjoy in summer in our shady beer garden directly behind the brewery.
