America meets Bavaria: It is precisely at the place of birth of the Reinheitsgebot that an unequal couple sets out to overturn beer conventions. And lo and behold: Ingolstadt likes what Yankee (Bryan from America) and Kraut (Max from Germany) brew for them. The Woda Portowa is a deep black Imperial Baltic Porter, intensely roasted malty, with multi-faceted flavors such as dark chocolate, coffee, cherry, spices and vanilla, with a slightly woody note and a roasted-bitter finish.
