Zichovec - Winter Affair Gossip Tiny Hill

For the third year in a row, we’ve been hosting the Winter Affair international beer tasting festival, and for just as long, we’ve been brewing collaborative batches with some of the participating breweries. It’s a unique opportunity to get to know each other better, share interesting insights, and combine our expertise. The beers created as part of the Winter Affair Gossip series are the result of these meetings—they bring together beer worlds, unique recipes, and a love for the craft across countries and continents. Together with the Danish brewery Tiny Hill, which specializes in modern meads, we’ve ventured into a style you don’t often see here—braggota, a hybrid between beer and mead. The result is a beer with a lower alcohol content but full flavor and a standard bite. The base is made up of high-quality honey, which adds a subtle sweetness, floral notes, and a rounded body. Passion fruit brings a juicy tartness, coconut adds tropical smoothness, and vanilla ties it all together into a dessert-like yet refreshing whole.
