Where tradition meets innovation and the passion for the art of brewing can be felt in every sip. Known for its breathtaking natural beauty, its millennial history and its thermal waters, Bormio is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world. Here flows the purest water of the Stelvio National Park, the most important ingredient for our products. This picturesque mountain resort is located in the north of Italy in the central Rhaetian Alps, hence the name REIT. Our beers are a true triumph of flavors and aromas. We use only the highest quality ingredients such as special malts, ancient grains, aroma hops and selected yeasts to ensure a diverse range of beers. Birra Stelvio was founded in 2000 in the historic center of Bormio and is one of the first Italian craft breweries, taking its name from the famous Stelvio Pass. The idea of putting a high quality artisan product on the table, or rather in the glass, met the spring water of the Stelvio National Park and created a unique and local product. A long career of continuous growth until 2017, when production ceased. In 2019, the project for a new brewery was launched, with the aim of getting the famous brand back on its feet and restarting production. In 2022, after 3 years of preparation, the Reit brewery was opened just a few steps from the old brewery. Here today we brew the Stelvio beer and our new REIT line.
