Description

The brewery goes back to a brewery restaurant founded in 1431, which monks of the monastery Metten built in Straubing. In 1881 Josef Röhrl founded the company. In 2008, the Sillner family, owners of the Labertal mineral springs, bought the Röhrlbräu, which until then had been owned by the Röhrl family. The brewery is represented at the second largest Bavarian folk festival, the Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing. Röhrl supplies 13 own restaurants. The beer output is approximately 65,000 hectoliters annually.
