The Hammar Brewery has been around for over 100 years! You can read about our story here. Over the years the brewery has been owned and operated by various families associated with the area. In August 2016, the Henrysson family took over the company to continue the family tradition. In addition to his work as the owner and CEO of Hammars, Robert is a versatile entrepreneur, especially in the IT and games industry. Sister Bibban is in charge of the brewing - she cooks our sugar and mixes all the ingredients. Her grandfather lived in Hammar for a long time, where he ran a radio shop, a gas station and a kiosk. The love for Hammar and the environment has been put in their cradle from childhood. And the brewing business runs in the family. In the heart of Bohuslän, her grandfather ran the Skärhamns Bryggeri och Vattenfabrik in the first half of the 20th century. Sofi has 20 years of experience in the food industry and has worked with several major Swedish brands. The focus was on consumer knowledge, brand strategy, innovation, communication and product range strategy.
