The desire for own draft beer in a pleasant restaurant under the majestic rock of Orava Castle led to the establishment of the Kastelán microbrewery. The first idea of ​​its own brewery was created in the summer of 2012. A test sample of Orava water went to a small brewery to produce the first test sample of Kastelán beer. Good Orava water contributed greatly to the delicious taste of beer. The tasting of this sample only confirmed that desires and dreams need to materialize. In the picturesque chateau restaurant with a terrace, the brewery is proud to present a light lager Thurzo 12 °, semi-dark Corvin 12 ° or a light draft lager Ctibor 10 ° or various beer specials such as Red ale Báthory 14 °, Nosferatu vamp ale 15 °, Munich 14 ° and others. The assortment of beers on tap always depends on the season to which the brewery adapt production plan.
