Description
In 2006, the tradition of brewing beer returned to Loket. The right to brew beer was already granted to the city by Jan Lucemburský. This privilege was confirmed in 1352 by his son, Emperor Charles IV. and beer was brewed here until 1953. The new Loket Brewery is located in the premises of the original malt house, today's brewery. In January 2011, the brewery hotel expanded the premises and offered assortment of beers. The St. Florian's family brewery is part of the Emperor Ferdinand Hotel. Minipivovar Loket beers are made only from the best Czech raw materials from the Žatec region, in the brewery they try to preserve the traditional methods of beer production. Minipivovar Loket believe that you will appreciate their efforts and that you will enjoy beer.
