Description
The Salmbräu is deeply rooted in Vienna's history. Originally part of a monastery founded in 1717 by Empress Wilhelmine Amalia, it looks back on a rich past. After the death of her husband and the plague, the empress devoted herself to establishing a place that would bring education to young girls and religious renewal to Vienna.
Today, Salmbräu combines historical tradition with modern brewing and regional cuisine. Our hand-brewed beer and dishes made from the finest Austrian ingredients make every visit an authentic Viennese experience. Discover Salmbräu—a place where history remains alive and enjoyment is paramount.
