Bierbeschreibung
Rowan trees have a long history in mythology. In Norse mythology, it was the tree that the first woman was made from. In the British Isles, the Rowan tree was supposed to be a protection to witchcraft and enchantment. People would carry small equal arm crosses of it or sew it into their clothes. Druids used the bark and berries to dye robes black for lunar ceremonies, and twigs were used for divining rods. Rowan IPA is rich with pine and citrus notes from lots of Simcoe and Columbus with a touch of caramunich malt to build up the backbone. Think this is a classic version of an American IPA.
