Apis Trójniak Piastun

Aroma of honey, quite woody (dry wood), light to moderate sherry-like, with a hint of raisins and perhaps very faint cranberries, light spicy. Faint notes of apples. The taste is sweet to very sweet. The additives (root spices and cranberry juice) are not too evident via smell but they seem to account for the half-dry finish that elegantly balances this skillfully executed mead.
