Biren Mattew

Balance and drinkability are the ideal words to describe Mattew. The inspiration for this beer comes from the traditional Bavarian style Helles, whose handcrafted version is unfortunately increasingly difficult to find. In this beer all the ingredients play in concert; the rich note of honey from light and first quality malts harmonizes wonderfully with the floral character of the noble German hops. Without lingering too long on the palate, the bitter aftertaste, never brash, balances with the sweetness of the malt.
