Biržų Alus Radvilų

It is strong beer with vivid taste and wit unexpected hint of wine in its’ aftertaste. There is a legend among beer brewers of Biržai region that this beer was born when the servant had accidently poured wine to thee mug of one Radvilai duke. The duke liked the new taste and from that time he ordered to use wine in the production of beer. It is a proven fact that “Radvilų” beer is made according to the ancient brewery recipes, found in the ancient books, which are from the times when dukes Radvilos were dominating in Biržai and took care of the beer brewing. Therefore its’ taste recalls the deep history and allows to travel back in time and experience what was the beer enjoyed by Lithuanian hundreds years ago.
