Boelens Burchtse Weel

Pours hazy dark golden with a massive white creamy head leaving a nice lacing on the glass. Nose: malts, hop, caramel, sugar candy, a bit moldy and floral. Taste: medium carbonation. Starts sweet (sugar, orange) in combination with a hoppy hint and a pleasant bitterness. Also some floral notes with a malty touch. The aftertaste is a bit dry with a nice sweet and bitter feeling. Not a bad one! There is sweetness enough but the balance is still good for me!
