Take the Lourd, this Belgian tripel and put it in a bourbon barrel and… *BOOM* …delicious bourbon barrel-aged Lourd. By itself the Lourd is a fairly complex beer with layered flavors and aromas from the grain and yeast. Put it in a bourbon barrel for 6-months and what comes out is oaky and delicious. This one never hangs around long when it’s out.
