Boyne Et Tu Brut IPA

Et Tu Brut? is our take on the Brut IPA style of beer recently originating from the USA. The style is characterised by its high carbonation, low bitterness, big hop aroma and flavour, and exceptionally dry mouthfeel. People achieved our desired dryness through use of a special enzyme to remove all excess sugar from the beer, creating a bone-dry example of the style. In the kettle, we used Mosaic and Eureka hops near the end of the boil for low bitterness but high aroma. The beer was then dry hopped with large quantities of Amarillo, for a punchy hop aroma that jumps out of the glass. Expect aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, pine and orange and a dry, fruity taste with spritzy carbonation to complement the dry finish.
