Brigadoon Green Ogre

The original was actually green with hops and a calculated hops value of over 120 IBU’s. Realizing the happy accident and the potential for an outstanding ale, brewmaster reformulated the recipe to be malt forward with a nice soft citrus finish. Designed for the Ogre in each of us! Green Ogre is a double or Imperial IPA wonderfully balanced- it won't destroy your palate, but it also provides a nice kick of hop flavor that you would want from an IPA. The addition of the cascade hops helps diffuse some of the English malt mouth feel and brings forth a nice refreshing citrus note at the end.
