Pours cloudy black with a lasting, very thin, dark beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, cookie dough, toffee, brownie, vanilla custard, blackcurrant, salted peanut, mocha, kahlua. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite chocolatey (praliné, vanilla) next to prominent hints of dark fruit (raisin, blackcurrant, fig, in a more or less candied way), rendering it a bit sourish too; light, almost medium, roasted bitter in the middle, with toast, peanut, mocha, and even a vague umami touch of olive. Dryish, earthy hoppy finish, more chocolate, toast, peanut, and a subtle dash of warming (kahlua-like) alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. This was enjoyable, but I still feel like it needs more punch in all aspects. Brouwbar has the ability to pull it off, though.
