Earthlines is a series of beers inspired by terroir – the influence of place, climate and climatic conditions on the character of hops. Each beer in this line is created with the aim of showcasing the aroma and flavour of a specific hop variety from a selected region of the world. Dry Wind is a clear and dry IPA in the new wave Cold variety, fermented with lager yeast for maximum purity of flavour and aroma. The composition of hops from the Yakima Valley (USA) – Simcoe, Chinook and Idaho 7 – creates a profile of pine, resin, grapefruit and peach. The dry climate and large temperature differences in the Yakima Valley favour the concentration of essential oils in the hops, which translates into aromatic intensity. Dry Wind is a beer with a distinct bitterness, heavily hopped, but crisp and balanced. Perfect for fans of modern IPAs.
