Apex Brewing Company - Conflicting Ideas

During German Hop Week last year we had the opportunity to embark on a new exciting adventure together with German hop cooperative @hvggermanhops and our main raw material supplier @craftco.se A quest for a new type of Double IPA. A thick, hazy and tropical fruit-forward DIPA but brewed only with German grown hops. SAY WHAAT?! No Citra? No Mosaic? That is correct - only 100% German grown and developed hop varieties. Tango, Callista, Hallertau Blanc and German Amarillo. HVG also let us try out one of their latest genius innovations: Lupulinator - the Arnold Schwarzenegger of hop products. Okay, we came up with the Arnold-bit. It’s definitely not the official HVG slogan. But it should be! Luplinator is a type of hop pellet created by the HVG-wizards with one goal in mind - to boost aroma. Zesty and tangy oranges, pithy grapefruit and sweet, perfectly ripe tropical fruits and gooseberries. Cheers and Prost!
