Before refrigeration or pasteurization, the brewers' only weapons against beer deterioration were alcohol and hops. English brewers using this knowledge started to produce a beer that became known as Indian Pale Ale.It has an amber color, its aroma goes through citrus, fruity tones and malty notes. The flavors follow the characteristics of the aroma, with the flavor and bitterness of the hops, harmoniously contrasting with the delicate sweetness of the malts.Pairs with Indian, Mexican, grilled chicken, and gouda or maasdam cheese.
