The Winterbräu from the Lenzkircher private brewery Rogg is back.
Brewmaster Joachim Rogg created the bottom-fermented beer with 14.5% original wort and 6.0% alcohol three years ago.
The Winterbräu has a strong spicy taste with an aroma reminiscent of caramel and cocoa, perfect for the Christmas season and the first weeks of the new year. The mahogany-colored beer was brewed from various light and dark malts and filtered after a long, cold storage. It is consumed from the brewery's own 0.25 liter brewer's stein with the Winterbräu logo.
The beer is now available not only on tap in selected restaurants in Lenzkirch and the surrounding area, and from mid-December after the brewery's winter break in Brauereigasthof Rogg, but now also in bottles by the case in beverage stores.
