BEEPSTORM – Oat Cream IPA Collab with Mountain Culture Pat and Jumbo – what a legendary duo! We reached out to them wanting to make a beer together here in Barcelona. Like many people, we spend a lot of time browsing craft beer content on social media, and their beers really stood out. A friend of ours who lives in the Blue Mountains near Sydney vouched for their quality – especially one: their iconic Oat Cream IPA. So, with a very early morning Zoom call for Dan (breakfast pints included), we kicked off this exciting collab. Even better? It’s also being brewed and released by them in Australia at the same time. Double launch! BEEPSTORM is a full-bodied Oat Cream IPA (not vegan-friendly, sorry!) with bold citrus and berry notes from Cashmere and Mosaic hops. It’s balanced by a smooth backbone of honeydew melon and coconut from the HBC 1019 hop. It’s like squeezing fresh hop juice straight from the vine and tossing in a tropical fruit salad. Expect haze. Expect creaminess. Expect flavour overload.
