We’ve teamed up with our good friend Masahiro from UCHU Brewing, based in rural Yamanashi – right at the foot of Mount Fuji. He visited us here in Barcelona last summer, charming the brew team with his good vibes and serious dance moves. After a few beers, the idea for this collab was born – we just needed a brew date.
Inspired by how both breweries craft bold and juicy DIPAs, we’ve brewed up this oaty, hazy monster. We’re even replicating UCHU’s water profile and including a few of Masahiro’s unique techniques in dry hopping and conditioning.
To max out the juice, we’re introducing the incredible NZ hop Nectaron (making its Garage debut!). A sister to Waimea, it’s bursting with pineapple and – as the name suggests – sweet nectarine. It’s paired with a dangerously fruity blend of Citra and Idaho 7, used in Spectrum, T90, and Cryo formats for layered complexity.
Expect a pale yellow, soft and pillowy DIPA that drinks way too easy.
