Holy City Brewing Slanted Porch Pale Ale

Charleston is a pretty kickass place to live if you ask us, and that’s thanks to a lot of little kickass details. When it came time to add a new regular beer to the roster, historic downtown came to mind, especially historic homes. There’s one feature they all seem to share – a slanted porch. Because of the unstable, coastal land they all sit on, the porches (trust us, they ALL have porches) start to slant after years of the ground settling underneath them. Some slant a little, and some slant a lot, making no two porches the same, another one of those aforementioned details.
