Chmely: Motueka, NZ Cascade, Rakau, Waimea. Yeast: Bottom, SafLager S-189. A beer brewed along the lines of New Zealand lagers, using only New Zealand hop varieties imported from the land of the Lord of the Rings. This beer is made from pale malts and bottom-fermented, allowing the unique aroma of the New Zealand hops, which were also used for cold hopping during the maturation process, to shine through. The aroma is dominated by the intense aroma of New Zealand hops, which moves from grapefruit, lime and lemon through floral to the typical piney green hop aroma.
