New England IPA (NEIPA)
Bierstil
Bierbeschreibung
Conan receives a hop load of 3 to 4 times greater than a well hopped IPA, however the addition of the highest hop load occurs in dry-hopping, which results in intense aromas and not bitterness. In addition to this explosion of aromas, ingredients such as wheat and oats are used, giving turbidity and body to beer. All these ingredients together with Conan yeast, result in a beer with a fruity aroma - yellow fruits - and medium bitterness, giving the sensation of succulence in the mouth. These characteristics justify another name given to this style: Juicy IPA.
