Bierbeschreibung
Fermented this farmhouse ale with the fascinating century old Norwegian Yeast strain called Kveik –say “kwike.” It means yeast in Norwegian dialect, and has been passed down many generations. It likes to ferment hot, and brewhouse accomodates. Aromas of honeydew, nectarine and kiwi, backed by citrussy clean flavors and a woodsy dryness. The flavors are pretty crazy, considering that fermented at almost 95 degrees. The Kveik chews through sugars in no time, so added plenty of flaked grains for mouthfeel. There are very few Kveik IPAs out there, enjoy this one while it lasts.
